From the stunning Cescaphe Ballroom on XIX to the outstanding mix of Philly and Texas vibes, this day had it all. The rain made its dramatic entrance, but the sun showed up with an epic sunset and a double rainbow. Honestly, what more could you ask for? A day you’ll want to press rewind on over and over again.

Kelsey and Chris knew Cescaphe’s Ballroom on XIX was the one. The venue’s jaw-dropping architecture and prime spot right on Broad Street in Philly? Couldn’t have asked for a better location. And let’s not forget about those all-inclusive packages… game-changer. They could focus on what mattered most, while Cescaphe handled the rest.

Kelsey and Chris’s wedding at Cescaphe was an excellence of fun and elegance. We all know that Philly X Texas you are looking at an ICONIC party, merging two worlds. IYKYK. Embracing modern garden elegance with bold chartreuse greens, disco balls hanging from trees, wow did NE Floral Boutique outdo themselves with this one, and signature cowboy hats that brought a personal touch and a winner amongst guests on the dance floor. From the hilarious “icing” of the groomsmen to the stunning sunset that came with a double rainbow after the rain, their wedding had a little bit of everything.

Standout Portrait Locations

And when it came to portraits, we hit up Philly’s best spots: City Hall, the stunning 18th-century gardens, and that epic 19th-floor terrace. We even stopped by the interactive art, The Portal, which links Philadelphia to Dublin, Ireland, where people abroad could wave and congratulate the couple! It was the best of Philly’s iconic spots and classic elegance, exactly what we needed to document their day.

The grand piano made its cameo too… those shots? Straight out of a Vogue editorial.

Memorable Moments

Kelsey and Chris’s wedding was full of those “did that just happen?” moments. The “icing” of the groomsmen? Classic. The hilarious wave to their friends in Dublin via a live portal? Epic! And the rain? It had a brief guest appearance, but it left behind the most incredible sunset and a double rainbow. Nature really brought the drama on this one.

The ceremony at Cescaphe was electric, especially with Darla, their dog, playing the role of flower girl. She stood at the altar, waited patiently by Chris, and then made her rounds greeting family in the front row. Adorable and totally on brand for this fun couple. My favorite part of this incredible venue is that it is inside of The Bellevue Hotel, that is extremely dog friendly. Making travel a million times easier in caring for your pets.

Cescaphe Reception Highlights

The reception at Cescaphe? Perfectly executed. Saxophone music set the vibe during the first course, followed by a refreshing intermezzo. Then, it was time to hit the dance floor. The 10-gallon hats brought that Texas touch, and the interactive band, Fiji, worked the room all night, keeping everyone on their feet and the energy high. The night was everything you could hope for and more.

This entire day was brought to life and then some by the thoughtfully curated, and by the incredibly talented team at Evviva Studio. I could not recommend them more for your wedding planner needs.

Color Palette & Theme: Bold chartreuse green, white, and gold… this color palette was chic, striking, and worked so well with the disco ball décor.

Styling Details

Bride’s Dress: Kelsey was absolutely radiant in the Aberdeen Vida gown by Maggie Sottero — classic with a fresh spin, timeless but still had that modern feel.

Groom’s Attire: Chris looked sharp in a black tuxedo, but those Miller Lite cufflinks? Perfect personal touch to make his look stand out.

Couple’s Experience & Advice

Kelsey and Chris were beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. From their dream team to the final moments of the wedding, they couldn’t have asked for more.
