Some venues do a lot of the talking + WALKING. Let me tell you, Vault 634 is one of them.
You walk in and immediately feel it. Gold everywhere, deep shadows, that old-world weight that makes everything feel a little more elevated. For Haided and Renato, it wasn’t just about the aesthetic. It was about creating a space that felt immersive from the second their guests stepped inside.
And honestly, they nailed it.

Let’s be clear, this wasn’t “vintage” in a soft, romantic, overdone way.
This was sharp. Intentional. Dynamic. A little bold.
Think Great Gatsby energy, but if it were thrown by people with modern taste and zero interest in playing it safe. The chartreuse florals alone made that obvious. Against all the gold in the space, they didn’t just blend in. They stood out in the best way.
Everything felt curated without feeling forced. Which is exactly where things start to feel expensive.

A lot of couples say they have a vision. Not everyone executes it.
Haided and Renato did.
Every piece of the day felt aligned. Nothing random. Nothing just “because it’s trending.” You could tell they knew what they wanted, and with the help of their planner, Events by Kelsey, they brought it to life in a way that felt seamless.
That’s the sweet spot. When design and energy match.
As an editorial wedding photographer, this is where things get fun. Because I’m not trying to manufacture moments. I’m stepping into something that already works and elevating it.

Vault 634 doesn’t flood you with light. It controls it. And personally? I love that.
The shadows, the reflections, the way everything feels a little more cinematic without even trying. It naturally leans into a more editorial feel while still giving space for real moments to happen.
This is where documentary wedding photographer instincts kick in. You’re watching closely. Anticipating. Catching the in-between without interrupting it.
Because those are the shots people come back to.

There’s always a moment where the day shifts.
People settle in. The room fills out. The energy becomes real instead of anticipatory.
At this wedding, it wasn’t loud or chaotic. It was smooth. Confident. The kind of energy where everything just flows because the foundation is already strong.
Guests weren’t figuring it out. They were already in it.

Not everything needs to scream for attention to be important.
Some of the best moments were quiet. A quick glance. A reflection caught in the mirror. The way the florals hit just right against the gold backdrop. Small things, but they stack up.
That’s the difference between just documenting a wedding and actually telling the story of it.

Haided and Renato didn’t overcomplicate anything.
They had a clear point of view, trusted it, and let it carry the day. Their love for each other and everyone in the space flooded the room.
And as a Philadelphia wedding photographer who works in both editorial and documentary styles, that’s exactly the kind of wedding that allows me to do my best work. When everything feels aligned, I get to focus on what matters most. Documenting it in a way that feels as good as it looked.
