Haley and Patrick have a love story that’s pretty stellar. They first met back in college, becoming friends and eventually finding their way back to each other after a few years. They both love being outdoors, have a special connection with Georgia, enjoy hanging out by the water, and share a passion for painting. Personalizing the Engagement Session

For Haley and Patrick’s engagement session, we decided to mix things up and make it more about what they love doing together! Since they both have a soft spot for painting but hardly get the chance to do it anymore, we thought, why not turn their outdoor engagement photos into a painting date night!? They brought along their favorite drinks, a Georgia football blanket, and a save-the-date canvas Haley had whipped up. Setting up right in the middle of Sweet Arrow Lake Park, with a view of the lake, the session turned into a fun, paint-filled adventure. It wasn’t just about taking photos; it was about capturing them doing something they love together! This idea transformed their engagement session into a personal and memorable experience, highlighting their shared interests and the things that brought them closer.

The Session Experience

During Haley and Patrick’s engagement session at Sweet Arrow Lake County Park, their dynamic and playful relationship took center stage, guiding the shoot more than any specific poses or directions. From the moment we started, it was clear that their natural interaction and genuine laughter were going to lead the way. It felt more like spending a day at the park with friends than a formal photo shoot which is always my goal! Their willingness to have fun and embrace every moment made for a collection of photos that truly captured the essence of their relationship.
