I might be a bit biased considering I have a deep love for my home state, but Pennsylvania really does boast so many breathtaking, natural landscapes and historic cityscapes! You name the environment or vibe you are going for, and Pennsylvania likely has it!
Pennsylvania is filled with tons of landscape and backdrop options, giving you a vast array of settings at your fingertips. Whether you dream of exchanging vows in the midst of serene forests, against the iconic skyline of historic downtown landmarks, or within the rustic charm of countryside landscapes, Pennsylvania offers a canvas as diverse as your love story. We are about to dive through the options, so you can discover the perfect backdrop for your intimate and unforgettable elopement.
Navigating where to elope in Pennsylvania can be overwhelming due to all of the options, but that’s where this guide comes in! The key lies in finding the perfect setting that resonates with you as a couple, and your unique love story. As a wedding and elopement photographer, I have had the opportunity to explore locations all over our state and this guide will take you through a ton of possibilities that Pennsylvania has to offer!
Determining the guest count for your Pennsylvania elopement sets the tone for your intimate celebration. If you envision a more secluded and adventurous experience with 10 or fewer guests, an elopement might be the perfect fit. Choosing a smaller guest count allows you the flexibility to explore scenic locations, engage in outdoor activities, and create lasting memories with your closest loved ones.
However, if your guest list is leaning towards 20 or more, it might be a great opportunity to consider a micro-wedding instead of an elopement. A micro-wedding offers a wonderful middle ground, providing a bit more flexibility and options for venues that accommodate slightly larger gatherings while still maintaining an intimate atmosphere. Rest assured, whether it’s an elopement or a micro-wedding, there are plenty of dreamy locations and venues in Pennsylvania to make your celebration truly special.
